Running from the months of May to September, this contest asked 7-Eleven customers, 7Rewards members, Slurpee fans and sun lovers to scan their purchases in the app and take off on an epic Canadian summer road trip adventure with 7-Eleven. The integrated campaign spans digital, in-store and broadcast, inviting 7-Eleven customers to enter the Road Trip to Rewards contest for a chance to win amazing prizes all summer long such as $5000 travel vouchers, HD action cameras and free 7Rewards points that can be redeemed for tasty summer treats.

The animated video concept centres around a journey down a Canadian summer highway from morning to night, illustrated with colourful, custom illustrated imagery. Iconic 7-Eleven food and drinks, like Crispy Classic Chicken sandwiches, Big Bite hot dogs and the ever-popular Slurpee, pop up along the way with vendor partners.


With SEV’s 360 Summer, all roads lead to the 7-Eleven.ca content hub. This is where the 360 Summer experience comes to life, as users can navigate seamlessly through the online videos, detailed contest information, prizing and rules, product offers and all things 360 Summer.
The custom character illustrations and artwork provide continuity and brand recognition from 2021’s 360 Summer campaign. Fantastic, colourful, iconic characters and designs draw from Canada’s connection to the outdoors. The illustrations are fun, unique, memorable and ownable.
Animated banners and display ads continue the 360 Summer journey, reinforcing the campaign messaging on our digital channels. The ads speak to specific offers, contest prizing and ways to enter, with a CTA directing the user to the 360 Summer content hub.

The campaign extends to print material where deals and information about the 360 Summer contest are displayed for the 7-Eleven customers.
The road trip continues in 7-Eleven’s social media channels, where a carousel banner format allows customers to experience the Road Trip to Rewards, scrolling through their favourite 7-Eleven meals, drinks, snacks and treats.
